My paint isn't conductive, why can't I detect continuity with a multimeter?
The continuity setting of a multimeter requires a small resistance, depending on the device it is in the range of a couple of hundred Ωs. As Electric Paint is fairly resistive, it won't work with the continuity setting of a multimeter. Instead, you need to measure the resistance of the paint.
