How do you create long distance sensors?

The kit uses shielded cables. These type of cables are less prone to noise, so they are more suitable for long distance sensors than non-shielded cables. However, shielded cables influence the sensitivity of the board to an extent, so be sure to read the How to calibrate the sensors for the Interactive Wall Kit tutorial.
